Webcom is looking for professional writers who can create original web content for its customer websites and news platforms, you will be required to research and write for various brands and customer websites, facebook pages, and corporate news channels.

This include but not limited to ensuring content meets guidelines, standards and best practice for web content, including plain English and with reference to the MediaGroup writing content creation guidelines, as well as editorial standards and branding requirements.

We are seeking a candidate who is good at original content. Someone that is happy to do volume work of content that could relate to a specific product or could be relating to local news story.

Required skills :

• Tertiary qualification in communication, journalism or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of best practice for digital content, particularly with reference to plain English.
• Experience in writing and editing for the web, with attention to detail, within a large and complex organisations, and in particular working on websites and new platforms.
• Experience in using a range of CMS ( WordPress ). 
• Office 365 and MS Excel.
• Basic Photo Editing and cropping knowledge.
